Automatic Fire Hose Rewinder MAKIMAS
MAKIMAS automatically rewinds a 20 m fire hose in about 20 seconds, significantly reducing cleanup time and physical strain on the back and shoulders of operators. With a single button, anyone can rewind the hose evenly, with no twisting or deformation. Using the optional dedicated carrier makes transportation easy. Thanks to its innovative mechanism and performance, MAKIMAS received the "Excellent Award of Fire and Disaster Prevention Science and Technology" from the Fire and Disaster Management Agency in 2024. By adopting a high-torque motor, rewinding can be completed in just 20 seconds. The simple one-button operation enhances usability and drastically reduces physical burden.
Smooth transport and extension with no twisting
The hose does not twist and the finish remains firm, enabling smooth transport and extension. We adopted a hose bar that maintains winding tension and added a guide to the bar to prevent twisting during rewinding, achieving a clean finish and contributing to easy transport and extension.
Easily remove tightly wound hoses with dedicated fittings
By using a detachable dedicated handle to rewind, the tightly wound hose can be removed without collapsing the roll.
Easy movement between sites with the dedicated cart (option)
When moving, using the dedicated cart allows a single operator to move it easily. The cart features large casters, providing stable transport over small steps or uneven surfaces, reducing the burden of movement.

Dedicated Cart (Option)
A dedicated cart for MAKIMAS that reduces the burden of moving it around training grounds or storage areas.
- Simple attachment/detachment—just insert it into the main unit—enables “move immediately” and “rewind immediately”.
- Large casters provide stable movement even over steps and uneven terrain by a single person.
- It can be stored while docked with the main unit, allowing space-saving storage in warehouses or inside vehicles.
